How many times have you been on the road and your not sure if there is enough water in the tank for a shower ..Or your like me dont travel with tanks of water.. Ok here is an idea that works for us.. The tap on the front of the van, put a ball tap there , a ball tap will let water go bothways.. Most vans have a 12 volt outlet on the drawbar,or the back of the tug, if not its easy to have one fitted.. Get a 12 volt presure pump with a 25-30 psi cutout . Then a washing machine hose with tap fitting both ends. put one end on the tap the other to the pump. Then pump from a 20lt water container, you know that the water wont run out half way into your shower.. And each day some where you can fill the 20lt up .. And thats not all you can heat the said water first by the camp fire and thats a saveing on gas.. Plus if you camp by a river.. creek ..ect..with a longer hose and a filter, yep no need to keep filling the van with water.. Just make sure that the presure from the pump is not to high!! And unplug before going to bed, it makes a bit of noise when going off .. Hope this is of some help...Bob n Bev
