no elaine i havent stayed there ... but one place in the area i recommend is the caravan park at donnybrook, probably a few minutes closer to caboolture, but not much, just a bit north of deception bay and right on the lovely pumicestone passage, opposite bribie island and about 15 minutes from cabooltute. we have spent many weekends there and i recommend it. though i would recommend that you take a site back from the water as the boaties (yeah i am one) come in early and can be a bit noisy early in the morning.

But I do know that you can park at the back of the Caltex at Burpengary for free. There are usually a number of big rigs just behind the fuel station and the vans go behind the rigs. I stopped there twice and each time there was plenty of company.
Certainly not flash, but the toilets and face basins were quite clean and on the men's side they have hot showers too.
While you're in Caboolture don't miss the Historic Village on beerburrum road. It is a fantastic place of some 60-70 historic buildings run by volunteers. I spent many hours there and enjoyed it immenseley. Find it on the net.
Goinsoon, we're about to move to the Caboolture area on Sunday for a few days (need to see a repairer about our awning) and would be interested in your reply; could you please post your reply here as well as 'the other place'?
Thanks --
Andrea
