We had a call tonight from the people next door there is a light on in your house ,do you want us to have a look inside they have a key to our house, so in they go and find a bit of a mesh books on the floor lots of things out of places then they found who was responsible sitting in the kitchen draw a Possum . It had come down the chimney just like Santa . Thank god we have good friends minding our house has we would not found out till we got home in six weeks by then loots more damage and a dead smelly Possum. be warned this could happen any time I am told if you have a chimney

We had left the light on , but the blinds stop the light but the possum broke the blind and allowed the light to be seen

Yes Possums if they get inside & cant get out are capable of doing increadable damage to the interior of a house. Daryl

I am pleased I have good neighbours and that left them a key to the house , I have arranged for someone to put a mesh over the chimney to stop them getting in again
