RE: Waeco CF-35 / CF40

Yours is a totally different model. Yours has the 240V AC powersupply built in to the Compressor control module on the side of the compressor.

Yours should have a 101N0500 controller like this fitted. If you have 12V at the 12V terminals & it wont go, then the unit is faulty &101N0500 Controler.8.JPG will need replacing. The one in the picture works on 12V DC but the 240V AC side is faulty (Major Meltdown)

Ive tested both these items and they both seem to have 12v on each side.Do you know what they are worth off the top of your head, I cant seem to find one for sale.

Heres a picture of the 2 components. Voltage was measured using 12V DC to power it. Voltages as marked. Parts probably available on Ebay cheep.DANFOSS CONTROL 101NO500. A.JPGDANFOSS CONTROL 101NO500. c.jpg

mmmm the IRL3705ZS at the back has 12v like it should but it also has 11.78v on left pin and 12.6v on right pin

also the 12CWQ10FN is working ok

if that makes sense :)

I did find a replacement but it is 86A not 75A Click Here

The replacement one should be fine. I am interested in your outcomes as to wheather it fixes the problem. It may well be what switches the power feed from the 240V supply to the 12V supply. I cant check that as mine only works on 12V now as the 240V AC power supply has burnt out so I removed most of those parts from the board.

Its the first one. Heres some voltages & CRO waveform I measured with the unit powering a compressor. The MOSFET is obviously the 27V power supply when powered with 12V. IVE incorrectly marked the 2 components. sorry.101NO500. 27V supply.jpgIRL3705ZS MOSFET.27V smps.JPG

ok based on the last image you posted, all of the points i tested had 12.5v except for the one you have marked as 2.8v mine had 12.1v.

not sure what that means but i didnt have 27v on any of them.

Right then the MOSFET is probably faulty as it is probably what generates the 27V to run the compressor on 12V. When on 240v, the 27V is generated by the 240V SMPS.
