Recently stayed at the Mudgee Riverside Caravan and Tourist Park. Whilst it isn't a budget establishment ($25 per night) it is a really nice park with a great camp kitchen and fire pit. Ammenities are clean.
While in Mudgee took a Winery Tour with Mudgee Tourist Bus - Brian and Sue Munn. Great value and very obliging and easy to get on with in all respects. Highly recommended.
Also stayed at the Gulargambone Caravan Park last night ($20). Nice small park, very quiet. Clean Amenities. Great camp kitchen. Fire pit and the owners Graham and Pam even provide a damper, either sweet or savoury depending on how they feel, at happy hour.
Presently at the Gulargambone C/Park. Still $20 powered site($4 for washing machine) Very neat and tidy small park with fire pit bbq etc etc. Owners Graham and Pam can't do enough to make us welcome. Just starting the fire pit and making a damper for our tea although we are the only ones here at the moment.
