Bush Camping in Adelaide River NT


New camping area for fully self contained 5th wheelers and winabago vans. $2.50 per night. Lot 139 Haynes Road Adelaide River NT Ph (08 89 767162 bookings esential. 2 km out of the Adelaide River township.
Individual secluded bush campsites, water avaliable, communal campfire,pet friendly . After a long drive up North you deserve a break from everything. You have your own space to set up camp to just catch your breathe and plan what to do next. Plenty of day trips around from Adelaide River. Enjoy chatting to your fellow travlers around a campfire under the stars. Just stroll over to the campfire with drink and chair in hand and enjoy. Plenty of birds and wildlife in morning and evening.  No facilities, just shady bushsite, 1 million stars, space and tranquility.

Oh boy oh boy,that sounds wonderful.We are waiting to go north,daughter lives in Darwin but the mother in law is due about the same time so that sounds like the place for us to wait it out so to speak!

 I would too. I would also like to know what their definition of "Self contained" is.

We have just bought a new van and the toilet is self contained as is the grey water.  In fact we have a tap that closes off the grey water from spilling out just the same as motorhomes and fifth wheelers.
