Spear Creek Station

After much frustation in trying to ascertain if Spear Creek Station in Stirling North SA was still operating, I contacted the SA Tourism who advised Spear Creek has been closed for about 12 months and although it may open at some time in the future, no further information is available at the moment.  Jan

You got me all excited then KayJay.  Had a triple murder at Spear Creek (Nth West Qld) in 1978.  Still unsolved.

well kayjay it seems you are correct, I gave spear creek a ring and it is closed but are hopefully reopening sometime in the future

which brings a thought to mind (yes I know and it hurt as well) wouldn't that make a great spot for a clan gathering, I wonder if they would be interested in opening up for just us for a week or so!!

HMMmmm! worth pondering mayhap!

clazandaza - am wondering if you were involved in the hunt for the Spear Creek murderer of 78 - I think that case can still be solved!
