Stolen vans and a boat

Another user suggested I try this site to locate our stolen Jayco 2004/05 Freedom fibreglass sided, poptop 17'11", Blue/gold motifs. Vic. Reg. R24279.
Stolen Neerim Junction.
Tandem wheels/duel gas tanks.  Self winding aerial.
Side mounted aircond. Rear Kitchen/side shower front island extendable bed.

While I've been looking 2 other vans and a boat which have mysteriously moved location.  I hope owners are happy for me to advise.
2008 Avan Erin Poptop S9977 from Hastings.
Boat Reg. AY693.  Trailer C9914 Hastings and
Jayco 2008 18.5 Expander Reg. S79 864 - Reservoir  If sighted contact police
Thanks for opportunity.

Hint for Newbies - make sure you take photos of your van from various angles, number plates and any extras that make your van different to others. Keep a copy either at your home base or with friends, or both. (no good in the van if it's stolen) Also picture of you with your van. Can't be TOO careful.

Good advice Pricey, I saw elsewhere that some put their rego number on large stickers on the roof, so that it can be spotted by police choppers and planes. The thieves wouldn't probably even know it was there in the short term.

Unfortunately the coppers aren't intersted in tracking down anything   stolen unless it has a warm body or a smoking gun in it .

A simlar case where a full sized motorhome  ($400,00)was stolen in Qld and only after an accident in SA 6 months later  did they realize it was a stolen vehicle .  The person/s driving at the time  were the low life's who stole it   It had traveled  23000 km since it was stolen and had traveled  across all mainland states staying in many van parks  for extended periods  and not one copper noticed it .  So much for  police looking for  stolen property .

Glad to hear the latest stolen van attempt failed.  I gold coloured four wheel drive was noticed by neighbours on the farm where our poptop was taken from in Neerim.  May be a better chance of having our van returned.  Thanks for all the replies from concerned viewers.  Regards.  Happy travelling.
