Places to camp nearby to Murramarang National Park

Hi

I'm planning to visit Murramarang National Park in the campervan in the next week or so. It would help to obtain some advice as to locations where I can set up with the camper without having to stay in a Caravan Park.

And it is getting so expensive as well to do this. I feel affordable holidays are a thing of the past.

Are there any places at South Durras and Moloneys beach area?

Hi Theo,

I live in Ulladulla and to my knowledge there aren't many, if any free camps between here and Bateman's Bay.  Of the two that were available one has been closed down and the other one is overgrown and not terribly accessable.

There is on at a place the locals call Point North East.   No facilities.   The turnoff is just to the south of Lemon Tree Creek bridge.   If you want more info PM me.

There is also Mollymook foreshore which is just north of Ulladulla.  Toilets and showers are free.  Right on the beach.  Very lovely spot.  Depending on which part of Murramarang NP you are going as to whether this is viable or not.

The only other one is a Dolphin Point which is just east of Burril Lake, which in itself is south of Ulladulla.   Again PM me if you want more infor.

Sorry I could be more help

Elaine
