Hi Lyn & Jeff
We have purchased a Lotus Uptown, delivery in April, cannot wait.. We live only minutes from their factory in Melbourne, so have pestered the owner Rob with a lot of questions & requests - he couldn't be more helpfull. We were at the Melbourne wharf seeing people off to Tasmania, so I was interested in what vans were being loaded onto the Princess of Tasmania. Saw 3 Lotus caravans going on - 2 Sprints & a Trooper off road van. Heaps of Mobile homes going over. Sorry I could not tell you much, but I'm happy with the design & service I have received. Been through the assembly line & watched them being made, didn't see anything to change my mind.

Just my humble opinionbut after all day at last years Brissie caravan show, the Lotus was the one I'd have picked. Admittedly it was from Caravan World at Nambour and all their vans are custombuilt for them and it was their Trakvan dirtroader, a very nice bit of kit. I can't have been too wrong as my mate who went to the show with me had the same opinion but of another model

Hi again Lyn & Jeff
You are better off starting a new thread, asking for general information, that way smarter people than me will tell you all their helpful hints.. I have only had the one caravan, a Jayco Swan campervan, back in the good old days when you just piled everything in the van, didn't worry about weight. Not so now. The best hint I can say is, take notice of what you put in your van.
If you need any help just private message me
