Van Security Alarm- Cheap Alternative

Some time back I posted an article on a cheap alarm system I was putting together after I  my annex was  burgled while watching TV inside the van .

I have just noted that the major component parts from Dick Smiths have come down in price   which may be of interest to the  DIY GN's out there  .

In addition I also hooked up a blue flashing light to mine to mount out in clear view so my fellow campers knew which van was under attack.

Back when I did mine  I put it through the test for flase alarms  and loudness and couldn't fail it  worked just like the $600 models
