Are you with BigPong, as I have had trouble with my modem not connecting with the internet, most of the day I would turn it off and pull all cables out, and let the modem cool down.

Yes. Many apologies everybody. The site was down for a while. We are checking in to the problem to make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for your patience ... and your continuing support of the site.

I found I couldn't enter the site through the main page but could get in to the forum through an email alert and then go from there.

I don't know xina. It's strange, but it hasn't happened to me.

I'm not on a windrows platform, though, so that might have something to do with it.

I think it was certain servers that had the problem.

I run Windows XP Pro at home and had trouble accessing the home page using both IE8 and Firefox.

At work we use the same operating system but had no problem accessing so who knows?

When I tried to get on last night, my whole Forums File had disappeared from the Favourites list. I still haven't worked out what happened, but got back onto Nomads' by Googling and finally getting the right site. Same with a couple of others I'm on, but still can't regain the Baby Boomers Forum.
My first thought was that Dumbgirls' threat had come true, as I kept getting an Apache site while trying for Nomads'.
Any-one know what really happened?
Cheers,
xina.

xina I had the same problem with the Forum Folder, mine disappeared from my favourites as I was attempting to open it, fortunately I make a backup copy of my favourites each day.  I use Firefox so it is very easy to do.
