Oh look! A dunny brush with ears!
Nah, she looks like a real cutie. Good company, when she's been house trained.
She'll bring you heaps of love and snuggles, once she's house trained.
I'm sure you'll love her with all your heart, once she's house trained.

She's learning pretty quick around the 2 other dogs that we have. The eldest Maltese female will probably not see another christmas as she has a tumor and a heart murmur, the new young one is to keep company for the offspring of the eldest as she has never been alone in her life as she came from a litter of six.

I dont know granny, you seem to have a fixation with being housetrained, we've been married over 30 years and I am a long way from being housetrained! (when I'm there)

Thank god it's a dog - I was worried that it was someone gloating over the arrival of yet another human bean....

So now the hard work of training and disciplining your guard dog commences...

It's a yapping rat!! Do you have any idea how much trouble they cause Ducks??

Why would anyone want to have one of them. Ducks are much nicer people!! :)

The other 2 we have just love ducks' necks, so I guess the young one will as well. Tried chicken necks and they are too small, goose necks too big but ducks necks are juuuuuuuuussssssstttttt right.

I found the following a while back and I do realise I am breaking the cardinal rule about be on the serious side but here goes.

When God made the Earth
and sky, and flowers and trees
He then made all the animals
and the birds and the bees.

And when his work was finished,
not one was quite the same.
He said, "I'll walk this Earth
of mine and give each one a name."

And so he travelled land and
sea and everywhere he went,
one little creature followed him
until it's strength was spent.

When all was named upon the
Earth and in the sky and sea,
this little creature said, "Dear
Lord, there's not one left for me."

The Father smiled and softly
said, "I've left you to the end,
I've turned my own name back
to front and called you 'dog',
my friend."

Hope you like it.

John
