I have a tech challenge and i know someone here will know the answer.
On New years Day there is a show on the radio i wish to record and save to stick drive. I will be listening to the show via the puter. How do i record it? Is there a programme i can down load free from the net that will allow me to do it?
Got the kids an ice cream maker from Christmas a sunbeam gelateria. Fantastic machine. The best ice cream i have ever had. Yesterday made lemon gelato and that was pretty good also. Right now i am making watermelon sorbet. Thanks guys the idea for the gift was from our main forum

Thanks Neil...i had a look and followed the links but eventually downloaded a freeware programme elsewhere.
I spent many hours last night trying to correct the damage it did on my puter. The programme i selected worked fine on video bit did not work at all on radio. When i tried to remove it although it stated it was spy ware free it took control of my puter. Different home page a new toolbar, google was gone and slowed down my machine, no amount of uninstalling or deleting would fix the problem. Eventually i did a restore and used spybot and cc cleaner to fix everything else up. Now back to normal now.

You gotta watch those interlopers. They're extremely invasive and as you discovered, hard to get rid of. Almost worse than a virus, almost. Having to restore to dump it seems a bit extreme, but whatever it takes...

If your going to listen to it via your computer then I would assume you can save it as an audio file then copy to a DVD or stick when you please, My understanding if it comes into a computer it can be saved

Did you try the "System Restore" function on your windows? That generally gets rid of things like that.
For the record, what was the programme that buggered your computer?

Hi Peter, Tried it at work today, I was live streaming a Melbourne radio station moved the arrow over the page and a pop up came up with Real Media Player download and recording Manager. I clicked on it and it started to record it, I did this for 3 minutes and then played it back. So if you have real media player you should be able to save it
