It's currently a Cat 1, very weak, heading SW and is predicted to cross land north of Kuri Bay, which will weaken it further.
If it was going slow over the sea it could end up a bigger version - bigger wind, bigger rain.
The cyclone tracking map expects it to be a monsoonal low by the time it's crossed King Sound to the top of Dampier Peninsula.
Will probably be a wet bugger for them.
The tail is coming across the country, and these things have a tendency to spread thunderstorms and rain wherever they like.
There's another tropical low a long way off to the NE of Cape Yorke which could follow the monsoonal trough across the top of Aust which Laurence is following, and maybe even annoy the Kimberley again. Most of their cyclones come from the north east rather than from the west.
Check out Weather Zone Radar & Storms, or the BOM site.

Correction: Just looking at the updated cyclone map on the Weather Zone site the TC is heading out to sea, west of Pt. Keats on the NT coast. Expected to be a Cat 2 in 2 days, but if the tracking is on course, it won't bother too many people, just a couple of pearl farms, and maybe some people-shipping boats.
