Hi again; have  2008 Jayco Sterling with Sphere tv; says tv is digital, but reception not good in most places. Have a set top box but don't know how to fit it. Can anyone help?
Thanks,

hey Colleen, just before I explain just check on your instructions to see if you have "an inbuilt" set top box, if you have then disregard the following, if not then follow these

at the rear of your tv can you see 3 different colored knobby inputs, these are your RGB inputs, they should be yellow red and white

on the rear of your set top box you should have three matching color coded outputs (red yellow white) labeled "tv" or "output" or something similar

you need a set of "rgb" cables, red, yellow and white, run these from the output of the set top box to the input of the rear of the tv

now this is not the end of it, you still need an antennae, internal or external, run the coax (black wire) from the arial to the rear of the set top box, it will have a connection labeled "input" or "antenae" it will only fit in the "female" recepticle anyway

plug the unit in and switch it on and tune the antennae and you should have a working system, you will find that digital is harder to get than analogue (old tv reception) and you may not get tv at all in a lot of places

but I hope I have helped you just a little

O.K. does your set top box have coax in as well as coax out (two large silver outlets), if so run coax (the black cable from your arial) from the s/box to the telly as with the rgb ( tri color cables) cables
