Heading for the cold,

We have to be a little stupid, but we is packed and ready to roll,
heading south on the morrow with grey ribbons and label proudly displayed on the back of car and van, heading for Young,
A little early but better than late,
First thing we checked was the heater in the van, plus extra blankets as it is minus 2 on thursday night there
if it gets to bad we head north again up to Mission Beach and say hello to Roadranger

Which way are you considering coming down to Young Mike and Judy?

Glad to hear you are "flying the colours".  Should be more of it.

Safe trip to you both.

I freak out when the temp gets below 20. Geez you're very bbbwave.
Too ffffff freezing for me. But then I don't have a live-in bed warmer. Have to get one of those one of these days.
I even run the aircon on 26-28deg just sucking the humidity out.
Have a good run wherever you go.

Yes Granny we have been discussing exacary that in another thread. You could put out feelers - maybe some bed warmers willing to assist, for a small consideration of course....
Hey with your intelligence, charm, wit, sophisitcation and articulation I'd have thought you'd have had plenty of offers....

Chris, I think I may be the same. This journey is certainly one of self discovery. I'm freezing my butt off in Streaky Bay. It's painful, I tell you. Suspect the whole Eyre Peninsula is the same. Now that's dementia! I keep saying I'm just passing thru, just passing thru..but of course it doesn't always work that way.....thought a bed-warmer sounds OK..sort of...sue

Have a sticky bun for me at Streaky Sue.
Well this aquiring bed warmers is easier said than done. I haven't had an offer I couldn't refuse, and I keep finding out why they aren't warming anyone else's bed but their own.
It's a funny old world I think. The longer I'm on my own, and the lonier I appear to be, the more thankful I am. I could be with the wrong bed warmer. How bad would that be?
Been there, done that, didn't like it.
It takes a bit of research to find the most appropriate bed warmer. Being alone is the preferred option until that happens.
And Basil, fitting all those wonderful accolades is very flattering, but I'm afraid I think it scares the good bed warmers off.
It's given me the wisdom to know there's more to having the hots for someone than meets the eye. Mmmmm

absolutely love the cold, well cool nights anyway, I found I could always get warm but after a couple of weeks of nudging 50 degrees I looked for it,

bedwarmers are overrated, the one I have sticks her cold feet in to the back of my legs and whacks her cold hands all over me then nicks all the bed (smallest damn queen size bed I have ever come across)

but anyway happy trails Mike, look after judy and dont overstretch on the ladders, enjoy the break

well I guess I do get a two course meal when I grizzle to her about it,................................................................. COLD SHOULDER AND HOT TONGUE!!!!!!!!!!! followed by lashings of abuse, no wonder I prefer the dog kennel!

all would be well if she was a bedwarmer instead of a warmth flogger!

Ahhhhhh Granny if only I were single, mind you I'd only be good for bed warming.... I can't even wash my hands without screwing up these days...

Granny essentially you have a problem faced by many women, all us blokes if we are going to warm beds prefer the bed to be occupied by a 20 something bimbo, Males generally want a fertile mate even though they can't mate. Its a paradox... All my mates seem to have run off with young bimbos and for what? They are only interested in the finances, the blokes end up in the coronary care ward....
Then there are those of us who are "chaps" we prefer a more mature, inteligent woman who can cook a decent scone, mow the lawn and fill the mower when it runs out of petrol and can hold their own in a conversation - and know how to turn on an elecric blanket!

HHmmm!! puts me firmly in "the chaps" department, I think a "bimbo" would kill me if not do extreme harm, give me a desert and a fire and great company anyday, bugger that "fertile" ground, been there, done that, wish I didnt sometimes

move over fuggles, get your own bone whimpy!!

bring on that flea powder
