The place next door was burgled, next morning everything taken was piled up at the front door....
I'm getting evap A/C. neighbour has been mowing his lawn since the installers arrived this morning, been going for 4 hours now....

Who robbed and who returned? Why?
Aircon vs mower? What's that about?

The robbers presumably returned the goods, why? maybe inspector Clueasau was on the case. And I wondered why the guy mowed for 4 hours while the installer installed..... I mean how long does it take to mow an area 10 metres by 5???
To many coincidences for me Granny, I should have helped Gnome drown his sorrows....

Hope you have security locks and double barrel locks on your windows, and burglar alarms and train Gracie to be a guard dog.............Hell.............that's only to keep honest people out isn't it!!!

Was the mower guy watching your place as security while the AC installer worked, or was the mower man looking for an opportunity to pop through the hole in the wall?
Ah, the 'burbs. I think I'm safer out on my own, and living in the controlled environment of the van park.
While there are incidences of people making the most of our inability to put everything under lock and key, most are responsible, and we keep an eye on each other. It's a good life.
Take care in the smoke Basil and watch Gracie's ears. If they twitch more than usual you may have to have a look around.

The little ol lady who used to live across the road from  us would tell us who had visited when we weren' t  home. Unfortunately for us, she is now in a nursing home.
Yesterday afternoon some poor unfortunate soul decided that he/she could put my laptop to better use than me.
We had visitors from OS staying with us and they left the bedroom window open hence the entry point.
the local cops told us to go and check out the local cash convertors, what a waste of time. They wouldn't even take the serial number.
I don't think I would be welcome there anymore after the scene I caused.
