New Van

We got a call during the week from the caravan builder saying someone had cancelled their van and we could take over the build. It was still early enough in the build stage that we could have our modifications done and have the colours we want.
So we called in on the way home this afternoon, chose the colours, signed on the dotted line and bingo the van is ours.
Delivery is about 6 weeks.
I have attached a picture of the same van.

Looks really very nice. Not too bulky. What make and size is it is it??

I'll come down for the launch and we can break a bottle over the bow. Just have to make sure we drain it first...........don't want to make a mess on the van. :)

Aah thats where you are wrong Dave, one of the reasons for down sizing was that we lived outside on ourlast  trip and didn't need the space inside. After all ,you really only sleep in it.

too flash for me, I'd be worried about scratching it, my brother was the same, new van every two years and a new rock hopper every year, wouldnt go on any of my treks for fear of damage, he missed a lot of fantastic country and now he's too old to see it

but all the best with it, looks to be a goodun

Congratulations on your new "home". I always feel a flush of pride when I get something that's new or upgraded.
I'm still proud of Roma even though she's now 11yrs old, but I look after her.
The hardest part about getting a new van is transferring everything over from the old one and finding places for all the "stuff" in the most appropriate place.
Enjoy!
