Bus Aircon yes or no

Currently converting a Volvo B10 to a motorhome for two. Not sure about air conditioning, do others feel it is necessary

Hi robcer and welcome to the forum. biggrin

If I was doing a conversion now, and had the choice to add it, I would for sure. Can come in real handy for both heating and cooling in some spots. I am a sook though. smile

So I say yes for sure but I don't have a bus so I would listen to the guys who do. wink

Hi Robin, welcome to the forum, not necesary but a hell of a good thing when you need it, all depends on your travel itinerary

I havent bothered putting one in any of my conversions but I would consider a heater, probably a dometic deisel (webasto)

we usually stayed away from the hot areas when travelling, prefering to free camp we keep the power use to a minimum

if you are going c/park to c/park and power is not an issue then whack one in now, easier to do it now rather than later even if you dont intend to use it

Hi Robin,
We have a portable one in our bus and use it when we are at powered sites. If oyou are going to have the chance to fit one now I would go with it you don't have to use it.But when it is freezing cold  or stinking hot it is great to be able to turn it on and stay worm or cool.
