Black and Grey Water Dump Points - Courtesy of ATTM & CC

Here is a link of the ATTM & CC site of dump points for Black Water and Grey water around Oz.  For new RV travellers who may not know, Black water is toilet holding tank contents water and Grey water is from holding tanks for shower and sink water.

No worries John, my favourites list is that long takes me half an hour to read them, let alone find the one I'm looking for, lol !

Vic, it would appear you have far too much time on your hands, or you doubt the wisdom of your fellow nomads to research this sort of information for themselves, much of which is on the internet.
While your help is always appreciated, I'm beginning to feel quite inadequate about my own investigation and research skills.
The Camps 4/5 book has all this information available.
Take care and relax. Cheers Chris

Sorry you feel that way Granny, but not everyone has Camps 4/5 and a lot of people new to RV'ing wouldn't know where to look etc. However if you feel I am doing the site an injustice (I may add that Cindy has sent me an email thanking me for my assistance on the site) then I will pull my head in and leave all posts up to others in future.

G'day,

I don't care how irrelevant a message may be to some, there will always be some newby on the forum who will glean some information from it and that is what we are here for, to help each other. I have learned quite a few things since I joined the forum in February 2008 and I still believe I have a lot to learn even though I have been caravanning since 1992.

Quite frankly I believe CG's comment was more tongue in cheek than anything else and not meant to ruffle any feathers.

I see quite a lot of posts on the forum that are of little real interest to me so I skim through them and move on to the next message feeling certain there will be those reading in the forum who will find it of interest to them.

Just my thoughts on the matter for what they are worth.

John

Thanks JRH for recognising the intent of my comment.
No offence was ever intended.
However, if that's how it was interpreted, I apologise.
I don't believe this site has room for one up man ship. To each his own, and if we want to share, that's a good thing.
We can't instruct each other on how to suck eggs, but we can learn from others.
Keep up the good work. Chris

G'day,

No thanks necessary Chris, I just said what I thought and how I interpreted the message, I try to bear in mind that we can all interpret the same message in many different ways and that we need to take our own state of mind into consideration at the time of reading said message.  We cannot see the other persons face or body language on a forum as we can in a face to face discussion and many messages get misinterpreted or misunderstood.

You know the old saying about pleasing all the people.

Regards

John
