Pathfinder Mirrors

Noticed that the new Nissan Pathfinder mirrors give a false indication of distance  between me and any following vehicles.  Know that most new vehicles  have the left mirror that states that "objects in this mirror may be closer than you think " .  On the pathfinder both mirrors give this false reading and neither carry the warning re objects closer than you think  .  Anyone out there having or had similar problems.  confuse

None at all; but then I learned to drive where convex mirrors were normal, as they are across the whole of Europe.

I know that most drivers treat their mirrors as a fashion accessory but I constantly use my mirrors, just force of habit I suppose. The problem is that when you want to change lanes any following vehicles appears to be well back until you move out then the problem starts as they are near up alongside or that close that the horn blowing starts.

YEAH, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM,SO I REMOVED THE DRIVERS SIDE AND TOOK IT TO A WINDOW BUILDERS SHOP AND THEY REPLACED THE EUOPEAN STYLE MIRROR TO A NORMAL MIRROR FOR $30 AND I AM HAPPY. BLOODY STUPID PUTTING THOSE TYPE OF MIRRORS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE!!!!
