Hi Mike and Cushla and welcome to aust. a good insurance broker for people on the move is Ken tame insurance, they deal with nomads all the time they can be found here,

info@kentame.com.au

if you email them and tell them what you have got and what you want then they will be able to help you

good luck with your B.A. and the search for a caravan and i hope they serve you well

For my caravan I'm insured with CIL, Caravans Insurance Limited.
My vehicle comprehensive insurance with now with ALLIANZ, as I'm on the road all the time, with no fixed place of abode.
Shop around. It's all about cost for service, and watch the excess.
I don't use a broker because they want their cut too.
If you're travelling it's best to use a nationally recognised insurance company.
State bodies only like to deal with you while you're resident in that state.
I have the car and van registered in WA, my postal address is in SA, and I'm in Qld for the last 10 months.
Registration is another matter which makes a strong case for national rego, but that's another story.
Shop around. Most have online quoting facilities.
Good luck and welcome. Cheers Chris
