Geez, Dave, I wish i'd known you lived there. I would have dropped in. I stayed overnight at Hawker on the way back from Leigh Creek and Arkaroola...then Port Augusta O/nite before I switched course and headed toward the Central Coast in NSW to pick up my son....(i was headed for the Nullabor)....I know I'll be back - north SA is beautiful...well 'cept for bull dust...and I didn't see enough.

sure is fantastic country, i fell in love with the place 30 odd years ago and havent left yet, we are central to everything here

would have been good to catch up and have a yak, never mind maybe next time
