Question of a bird pic posted


 I was going through the picture forum and seen a bird posted by JRH.   John  if your out there could u tell me the type of a bird that was u posted on the 29 sep 08
it is on top row furthest to the right.

 got me stumped lol
 loved the photos taken by those who have posted  gawd i usualy take pics of the sky or my boots

G'day Dave,

I am not really sure but I think it is one of the Lorikeet family but which one I really don't know. 

I spotted it in the bush at Kalbarri and sneaked up on it to take the photo and the little bludger wouldn't talk to me, just sat there looking beautiful.  I have a thing about beautiful birds, the feathered kind mind you, have a thing about the other variety also.

Thanks John  ive been through all my bird books but cant find one of that colouring   umm u couldnt go back and wait to see if it pops up again ? hehe

Would love to go back but if the bludger ignored me again I might be inclined to wring his neck.
