Hi Cindy. I would like 2 as well, and pay my way. One for the car and one for the van, (and 1 for the little boy who lives down the lane) Sorry, couldn't help myself. Just 2 would be nice. Cheers Chris

Thanks for the thought, guys. Loads of people who are emailing their requests in are also offering to pay for the highly sought-after stickers. But a deal's a deal. We said free and free they shall be. We are just grateful that so many of you want to proudly fly the grey nomads flag. Our hope is that the 'oh so beautiful' stickers will bring some of us together out there on the road somewhere sometime, and also that they will encourage others to check out the site and the forum. Incidentally, we are expecting to receive said stickers here tomorrow and will get busy despatching immediately. Ooooooh, the excitement is killing me!

G'day Cindy,
If you are not comfortable accepting payment for the stickers may I suggest you nominate a charity and we could make a donation as payment.
Best Regards. John

well there may be another way,.............. I assume that cindy get's "royalties" of some sort from the grey "nomad book"
perhaps if we were all to buy a copy of that as way of a "thank you" perhaps may be acceptable, I will be placing my order today.
there will be a cost to cindy to have the stickers printed up and I sort of see this forum as being "our's" and therefore should not "cost" cindy to enrich our experience of it, regardless of who is in here!!!,
just my thought's anyway

Sounds good Dave. Buying the book is a great way to support the Web Mistress. It's a valuable, friendly site, and while we support it in words, it would be great if we could do more to maintain it's high standard, and it simplicity. It's one of the simplest sites I've used. Maybe we could generate some advertising to subsidise the site. What do you think Cindy? Are you up to handling "PAID" advertising on this great site? This could be bigger than Ben Hurr. I plug it wherever I go to anyone who's interested, and if they're not interest at the start, they sure are when I've finished with them. Word of mouth is the best, or worst, form of publicity. Cheers Chris

We thoroughly recommend The Grey nomads Guidebook. We bought it when it first came out and it "lives' in our caravan. The book is packed with information and is really very entertaining to read. Truly the best guidebook we have in our collection. We will proudly display the sticker. (only 21 sleeps until we set off.)
We just received our 2 bumper stickers and they look great (the maroon colour even matches the markings of our van. I believe We have Cindy to thank. I will be buying the 'Grey Nomads' book as suggested in this forum to add to my 'Camps 5 book as essential reading during our travels.

Thanks again, everyone, for your kind offers to help with the cost of printing and sending the stickers. However, we planned long ago to provide them free of charge and we are really happy to do that. We hope that they will help members to recognise each other on the road and that they will also encourage others to have a look at the site and perhaps join us. Donating to a charity would be great (and of course buying our book would also be great!) but we really just hope that everyone enjoys them. PS - Check your postboxes, the first lot went out yesterday!
Hi Cindy. I promote the site to every traveller and potential traveller I come across. I get asked a lot of questions about my lifestyle, and am only to happy to provide some wisdom to the eager listener. I then refer them to GN, because there is just so much useful information which has been contributed by experienced travellers. The banter is also entertaining, with a touch of wisdom. I look forward to receiving my stickers. Cheers Chris
