Woods Reserve on the Corin road is available for free camping, Vaning etc. Pets Allowed !!!!!! No powered sites but hot showers etc available when you book. Being the ACT there is a catch; all bookings to be made by phone in quadruplicate to the ACT forests call centre in Mumbai where an Indian chap named Michael will take your call and transfer you to the head (& at times Loan) Ranger who is in the Philipines but will get "George" in Canberra to call you back with the top secret access code for the amenities block. You think I jest?
It's a really nice spot, lovely little creek for the dogs to foul, nice waterfall upstream, close to Tharwa and the Corin Forest winter resort.....
