We would like to know too. Which cheapish antenna is easiest to use with best reception.

I have to admit to watching a bit of TV while on the road, just to keep up with what is happening in the country, I mean if there was a coup de etat in Canberra by Pauline Hanson I'd like to know about it....Ok TV antennas as the picture these days is usually in UHF to get a decent picture you have to be line of sight to the transmitter, so much as a wet tree can pixelate the picture.... as to the antenna most of them work  but your situation will depend on the reception you recieve. I have a winegard with booster and it don't work at Tathra ,yet the couple next to us with a happy wanderer were getting a great picture.....however as of July this year we go to digital so to get that you will need either a digital capable TV or a set top box... With Digital you either have a picture or you don't, you don't go through the snowy scenes bit. And to answer the next question that someone is gonna ask, don't believe the snake oil salesmen that will pop up and tell you you will need a digital antenna, any UHF antenna will work as long as it is appropriate for your situation. You do need though for crisp Digital pictures to have any coax runs in the proper coax, (RG6 Quad shield) I've just re run all the coax in my home, bought a crimper and crimped the connections and a  Dick Smith Coax stripper made life easy too.......

TV antennas are made to work with certain frequencies. DO NOT BUY ONE OFF EBAY MADE OVERSEAS AS IT WILL NOT WORK HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Having read the specs on the voyager it looks like it should work well especially in fringe areas, you would need to get it as high as possible though at least 2.5 metres from the ground as phased arrays don't like ground plane interference....

Yeah Dave man I know the feeling..... I often suggest to Sybil that rather that watch TV we should go skinny dipping where she can admire my six pack (of cascade light) and then give me a long slow sensual massage just to see if anything pops into her effevescent mind - all to no avail she would prefer to watch someone make a fool of themselves opening cases contining numbers with Johnie O'keefes nephew overseaing this hubris....

Basil said well in this age of techology looking for a problem to solve we've turfed the boardgames and play Trivial pursuit & Monopoly on the laptop... make it so much easier too and the dice cant get lost.....Hey I've got a cable that lets me hook my mobile up to the LT and I can send texts all day using the querty keyboard so easy....
