Is it canvas or vinyl?  If it's vinyl you can use a broom with a bucket of warm water with laundry detergent and a fair amount of vinegar to remove and kill mould etc, and remove marks and stains. I use a broom which attaches to the hose.  If it's canvas you can also use the same combination but make sure you rinse it down thoroughly.  Good luck and happy travels.  confuse

I used a canopy cleaner I got from my local BCF. Applied with some elbow grease and it cleaned up well . Avoid using those spray on mildew cleaners they can contain a high percentage of sodium hydrochloride and that just pulls the colour out of everything . There's a book out that details various products and mixture for removing stains saw it a our local book depot. .

White Vinegar is always a good standby.

ah!! a great trip awaits, the nerves would be building I imagine, no sleep for Marty on tuesday night methinks!!!,

take a good look at the rain while it's there, you probably wont see any when you get over here!!

good little spot north haven, great walk along the beach down to semaphore through glenelg, dont forget to ride the tram from port adelaide to the city and have a ride on popeye and chase the ducks with the paddleboats, great fun and a good day out,

might shoot down there for a weekend soon do what I just stated and have a day at the zoo, bit of a risk though, last time they wouldnt let me out, kept trying to pair me up with the monkeys, say gday to geoff at the gibbon enclosure for me if you get there, he's a great bloke and a good freind of mine

Dave, in my usual pedantic way, unless things have changed a lot, the tram runs from Glenelg, not Port Adelaide. Having said that, it's a beaut way to spend a few hours and worth the few bob it costs.

I stand corrected, I remember from my distant childhood going through or stopping at port adelaide, actually thinking about it now I see in my minds eye the tramline running straight through to the big norfolk island pines and the jetty in sight, unless they are gone, my last trip was when the beaumont children went missing, so it was a day or two ago, you are not being pedantic, we are all about discussion here, do they still have the sideshows at semaphore???

and I agree fully, an excellent way to spend a bit of time, nothing like the simple pleasures in life, I must renew my memory and take the dragon and son down there soon, maybe after the xmas madness has subsided

 North Haven  a great spot  . Have you been there before?  Take the insect repellant they can get a little on the cranky side on the full  and rising moon  .

Plenty of big flatties in the river along with bream in around the oyster leases .

I'm off to South West Rocks Friday for a few weeks.

Come and enjoy .

How could I not insert a link to the original route maps here???? the Port Adelaide line looks to have been an isolated one.. very curious. Mind you now that the worlds last X rated trams have been replaced by those modern characterless european design things.... Yes the H class cars that we remeber on the Glenelg line were x rated, you could enjoy them coupling up for peak runs in Moseley Sq.....
anyway the links, enjoy;

thanks Basil, it has got my curiosity for rekindled chidhood adventure up again

as I stated I have a sister in north haven so I might just go down to glenelg and ride me a tram, take the lad down and the dragon, might make it a railway week or something, take the train to adelaide, jump the tram stay at a motel in glenelg or whatever, see the sister, do the zoo, ride the paddleboats chasing the ducks, have a trip down memory lane, take the dragon and the boy with me, sounds like a plan for early next year
