Crazy Green Syndrome

If you feel you have a problem coming to grips with climate change then there's help out there .  You can't get an appointment to see a doctor if you have a life and death situation but if your a little on the confused side with climate change and what you can do to get others to follow your lead   then there's a new medical growth industry waiting to help,   all at modest medicare charge I'll bet.

yes I must admit to being a little on the cautious side, but only because I cut down my usage they put the bills up, I have reduced my electricity usage by 25% over 4 years, my bills are 35% higher than they were then,

I reduced my water consumption by 45% my bills have risen 38%

yes I'm black green but only because the harder I work the more I must give to the government whom then dole it out to the wealthy when the banks go bust.

I cant wait to hand the damn things over to the next generation to take over the homestead

Now I thought I was the only cynic out here . Obviously you have been do the sums like I and come up with the same result. No matter what you do it cost more to do it and the Rudd birbe isn't going to do anything towards making the ends meet long term .

we as carers save the government millions of dollars a year, it has been said that the actual savings that we produce would wipe out the surplus in one year, for that we are paid $425 per fortnight, that is for 24 hours a day seven days per week 365 days per year, even though we get respite we are still "on call" that equates to roughly $1.26 per hour. I dont know of anyone that would work for that with no overtime paid and no likelihood of freedom. I know of pensioners (I help them out all the time) that cannot afford to eat and that is on our street.

I take leftover roast whether its left over or not, and often take groceries to them, quite often i cook complete meals for them, I work, the dragon works and we care for our disabled son so we can sort of afford it.

I lost an old mate of mine not that long ago, he was one that was "under my wing" hit me hard, the black dog almost came calling again, things are just getting tougher and it seems the more we work the more we get behind, I can work longer hours but these pensioners cant, we have 3 on our street that we "care" for what about the street behind us and the street behind that, what the hell happened to the country that I grew up in. rich get richer poor die!!!

I did notice that when we managed to loose our last son to his own little house on the Praire that our phone bill dropped and our electricity bill dropped by about 50% and all went swimmingly for a month or so then for some reason everything seemed to climb back to where it was.... Naturally I questioned the local telstra and energy suppliers, Telstra offered us a "New Package" that would be cheaper for us with no explanation as to how our bill could not be explained.... The energy suppliers came and changed the meter claiming that "it was faulty" and they had "assumed" that we were useing the same amount of water, gas and electricty but the meters may have been faulty. We are still waiting for a refund.....All this shenanigans does not inspire one to even worry about climate change or being "green" the only thing that is of any concern is the bottom line for the shareholders the rest of society of course has to bear the brunt of everfyone cutting down to try to stay a pale "green".
Yeah I'm very cynical

I'm afraid I dont worry about using "stuff" anymore, more we save the more someone else uses, if we want to use it now we just bloody use it, our lawns are dead, other end of town is green as green, whats the point
