I may have posted this before but here it is again. A reasonably comprehensive guide... Of course you would have to phone ahead just to be sure to be sure... http://www.k9.bounceme.net/
Family Parks Australia have quite a few of their parks listed as pet friendly that are not listed on the site above.

Port Smith Lagoon Caravan Park, Western Australia is a great place to take a dog. Very bushy, quite remote and great beaches to run on.

strahan island cabins advertise no dogs but that is only to give them the option of refusal, they do indeed accept doggies, ricmond c/park is also doggy freindly

Blackheath CP (Blue Mountains)will take dogs with prior permission if the park is not crowded or school hols etc. NOT IN THEIR CABINS though

Katoomba falls CP will allow "assistance dogs" to stay in your Van, tent etc.
The definition of assistance dog is very liberal, if you dog assists you then it's OK, seems the council rangers are the ones driving the ship up there....

If you use the "pet friendly" string as Keywords in the search it will bring up exactly that.... tons of em!!!

As you know I live in the Blue Mountains, but never thought either of those Caravan Parks would take dogs.

Well Bilko the cynic in me suggests that this may be simply a sign of the ecconomic times - better to have the odd dog and some income rather than have no dogs and reduced income.....
