The Naked Truth

I've only just caught up with the stories on the home page (been sick, it's a long story).  Re the one called "The Naked Truth"- I've been a nudist for about 10 years and until recently part-owned a nudist retreat north of Gympie.  From experience, I can tell you that at least 90% of our guests were over 55.  Our oldest guest was 83!  It seems as if you have to  "of mature age" to be able to say "to hell with it" and lose all your inhibitions.  The youngsters are far more coy.  There's nothing like being nude to fully enjoy sunbaking, skinny-dipping, bushwalking in this wonderful country.  Should be more of it.

Well, I guess I now have nudie bits in need of serious ironing too, but somehow in the process of tidying the house for sale, the iron has mysteriously vanished. (joyful cheers heard from the kitchen sink area)

DH would LOVE to join the naturist movement. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Jill, There's nothing like the feeling of freedom you get from being nude - especially when swimming. I've never seen the point of putting on special clothes (ie swimmers) to go into water anyway. Much easier to dry skin than fabric, and no having to put up with soggy swimmers! It's possible to travel most of the east coast going from one nudist venue (caravan parks mostly, some cabins, some much posher motel-type accommodation) to another. Let me know if you'd like more information.

         G'day,
         I agree with Dave06, in my opinion the best contraceptive for the elderly is nudity.idea.gif

Basil, you're awake, hey look to each his (or her ) own, I just think back to my childhood (not that long ago) when I was about four, running around nakey, ran through a patch of stinging nettles didnt enjoy being "free" then I can tell you, the next time was at fishermans bay, about 8y.0. I guess, sitting down playing sandcastles next to a bunch of seaweed and yep you guessed it, mr resident sand crab took offence and nipped my main means of keeping the sand moist enough to continue making the sandcastle, well, after the bleeding stopped and the swelling went down and the howling stopped (well it sort of hasnt stopped yet) I moved on, the next time was at a camp when I was probably 17 - 18ish got up in the middle of the night for a short stroll, as one does, just happened to be that I was "strolling" on an electric fence, shock threw me back probably 6 feet and rendered me unconcious for a good ten minutes, I cant even begin to tell about the pain in my "strolling" regions they throbbed for days, so after a few moments I thought hmmmm!!!! maybe this nakey stuff is not for me, yes I hear you it took a while but I was never a bright child so you can have your pleasurable "at one with nature"  business, when I am nakey I want nature as far away from my dangly bits as possible, your pastime, my pain, I keep covered up thank you very much hmm  perverts!!  HAH! HAH! HAH!   at my age, I try not to look at me!!!! doh

Really Dave.... You remind me of my mother in law, she leaves her voluminous knickers and bra on in the shower in case she has to answer the phone..........

Here's one on the outskirts of the Metro area in Perth (off Gt Eastern Highway), not sure about the other states though.

RV rates seem cheap enough if you're into that sort of thing, one of our GN members built the gates for it, see;
