Wireless Internet

We are first timers to caravaning, heading off in August and need to have access to the Internet has anyone had positive experiences using the wireless while travelling?

Hi Guys

You only have two choices, telstra and vodafone. We have vodafone as it is cheaper than telstra. Telstra min is based upon time wheras vodafone is by download amount. My only bugbear to date is that vodafone coverage is not as good as telstra and that when you are on the fringe of reception download speeds are painfully slow. We have been on mobile internet for three months now and it is not as fast as landline broadband.

Reciently used telstra wireless and was very pleased with coverage, no extra charges as I only used it for incoming and out going mail. May not be suitable if you used it for the net as time spent would mean charges. I think I was limited to 2.5 hrs per week.
