Any one know of any free or budgets camps site around cooktown QLD

I stayd here last week for a couple of nights and was the only person there. Its about 7km out of Cobden. No power or toilets/showers but a very nice place to rest for a day or so. Large open area with trees for shelter 8/10

Hi Everyone. This one I have no hesitation in recommending. Situated on the Great Norther Hi way 61kms south of Kunnunurra. Very nice, very clean and tidy. Charges very reasonable being $17 per night, power and showers included,one person. Drive thru sites and all water taps at each site....

Guys, have just purchased an new HD TV for the van to replace the old analogue set, checked system on the home antenna and all ok......transfered to van and reset the "auto search" and wound up with a lot less channels including no Chan 9, One HD, 10 etc.........is it a case of changing the win...
