For the first time in the history of my membership of the GN's I am having a problem. Yes, I know, I'm getting old, and 'Uncle Al' has moved in and it depends on who gets up first in the morning as to who has a good day.
Every time I enter a topic in the search bar on the main page it comes up as, 'there are no search results to match your query!'.
I have tried different ways of asking but still nothing. I have checked settings and still nothing.
This has been going on for a couple of months now.
I contacted Sparklit a week ago and asked about the search and RSS functions, but I haven't received a response. It seems that nobody gives a damn.

The search function has never been great; however it looks like it's not working at all now. I'll write to the IT people at Sparklit again and see if they can fix it.

Thanks Cindy.
Have you recovered from your loooong trip the other day mate when the goods train wasn't all that good to you both?
Thanks AWL. I had a peak at that link. I did a Google search by asking the question with Grey Nomads on the end and there it was. A post I had put up way back in 2017.
I will now go to Techies and put a post in there as to why I asked.

The IT people are Sparklit have said they will look into it, but don't yet have a timeframe. In the meantime, best to use the Advanced Google search method described by Dorian in that previous thread. Hopefully the issue will be fixed soon.

Android tablet - Firefox browser I have some success by prefixing the search string with a " in the Search box.
e.g.
"samsung "250W solar panel
.

Nice find! It works in Chrome, too.
It does appear to be the result of a broken Sparklit Activeboard software update.

Any ideas out there in GN Land?
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
This was raised just a couple of weeks ago,
