Earlier this year I purchased a Garmin 1490t GPS for our trip to the big island. What a disaster! We have never been lost so many times in our lives. Have managed to flog it off on fleabay. Can anyone PLEASE give their thoughts and experience with any other brand. Thanks Dusty

Hello Everyone, Wow. my last toilet post had an enormous amount of readers and thankyou to all who replied. one thing though with regards to the top tank - usually I use chemicals so do other people just use water and a few drops eucalyptus oil instead and if so, how does this go for you? thanks.

Doesn't look very nice up there. Bingara is under water. The Newell from Moree to Goondi is closed as is the Gwydir. Just heard on the news a toddler drowned at Bingara, that is very sad. Are all our Grey Nomads safe, the weather has certainly been a bit uncomfortable the last two days.

The free camp at Chatsworth Park , just north of Gympie has been closed . Completely fenced off so nobody can get in there . 147 in Camps 5 . The one at six mile creek , south of Gympie is still open .
