Hi everyone, I am currently in the final stages of preparation prior to departure & I have found a few instances of things overlooked that could have severely impacted on my trip. In one instance it was after having new tyres fitted I decided to test getting one off using factory supplied wheel br...

SNUG
(Preview)
We are in Snug now for a week.; Not a bad van park, amenities are good although I might suggest bringing your own bath mat as the dry area soon becomes the wet area. No rain here, well not yet anyway. Someone told me that the take away in Snug made the best Thai food. Did I hear right, does anyone know. I think...

YOU KNOW YOU'RE AUSTRALIAN WHEN: You believe that stubbies can either be drunk or worn. You've made a bong out of your garden hose rather than use it for something illegal such as watering the garden. You understand that the phrase 'a group of women wearing black thongs' refers to footwear and may be le...

New tow vehicle
(Preview)
Well, my new (to me) Toyota Land Cruiser Prado "Grande" is now in it's new home in South West Gippsland. It was a bit different to drive than my Ford Sedan. Filled it up with gas and petrol and now to work out how many km's per tank. I am not sure about the size of each tank just yet but I can work that...

Not sure how many of you know about this, but IGA offer at least 4c per litre off their grocery bill. Just show them your fuel docket (eg, 80 litres at last fuel stop we made) and they will deduct 4c per litre (approxiately $3.20) off your grocery bill. Even works in IGA liquor in NSW. TAMWORTH CAMPERS BEWARE

Hi everyone, just watching the local news and a report said that 20 campers were hit by THIEVES last night. It would seem that not only country music lovers go to Tamworth in January so the advice from police is LOCK IT UP OR LOSE IT. Even if you lock stuff up you still need to hide it so the scum are not tempte...

I notice the editorial on the homepage regarding BALOON FLIGHTS around ULURU...at the same time I see that the cultural tours are ceasing forthwith. Are these separate entities or run by the same organisation, either way, will it effect this proposed new venture? http://www.abc.net.au/news/20...
