I will now be buying rust coloured towels for future trips, but one good thing has come out of our trip, is...

Have been using old school shade cloth to date, but now need to upgrade and was in a camping shop today where they were selling a 'Roman RV" product which appeared to be a rubberised material, open weave and priced between $70 - 100 depending on size. Just wondering if anyone has used this type of fl...

Daryl and I are hoping to head off for W.A. around about March 2013, has anyone any tips for the trip? Also what can you tell us about solar panels, are they worth the cost and which ones? Best wishes , Gloria & Daryl. -- Edited by Wandering Whitfields on Friday 15th of June 2012 08:24:19 AM

After speaking to a few truck drivers, and from my own experience, these parking bays are NOT for caravans and motor homes overnight parking. These areas have been developed for the truck drivers to take scheduled rests as part of their fatigue management obligations. Oversize vehicles can only mo...

If, like me, your RV has duel rear wheels fitted, it is adviseable to fit these sensors on the valves. This idea is so that you won't run a flat on a drive wheel, and possibly not notice it, 'til it is too late. They come in packs of four, or six, and have a small readout panel that sits on the 'dash, keeping you...

Don't buy fruit and veg in Mildura and think that because it is sealed (and that it says it is ok) you can take it in SA, because you can't and if you buy any fruit and veg in SA keep your receipts. Just spent the long weekend in Metung, Bairnsdale and surrounds. The floods (although not as bad as up North) have caused some drama.
