The Lakes Hwy Tasmania
(Preview)
Hi, I'm half way through five weeks in Tassie. Currently in the south. The drive down the Midland Hwy was terrible with more road work at 40klh than normal road. A couple of people have suggested going back to Devonport on the Lakes Hwy. I'll be towing a 2500kg van. Has anyone used that road recently?

The last one we had and recently gave up the ghost, had an 8 day ice retention, 40 lt's, a lock, and was a Coleman, any suggestions? Information is still very sketchy but it appears the January software update for Samsung phones is causing at least one model to stop working requiring some sort of complex reset procedure and the consequent loss of all data. Spotlight on Exmouth
(Preview)
I've been to Exmouth only once, which was back in 1991.I've circumnavigated Australia (by road) and I've visited 13 countries (lived and worked in a few) and, to this day, I still think the beach at Exmouth is the best I've ever seen. While taking a dip in the crystal clear water, my ex wife and I spotted a...

Yesterday during a heat wave the power went out (temporarily) at home and I was most uncomfortable, that's putting it mildly! Anyway, as we live by the Murray River we could potentially lose power, sewer & water for 3 months (we are going away for a few weeks which will help). I was thinking about bu...

This is possibly a "Cindy" issue but after hacking experiences with Facebook, is it necessary to change our password here from time to time? Do other members change theirs? I know other forums are similar where we use the same password year in, year out.

Mobile Networks - Aldi Vs Optus
(Preview)
Hi, currently with Optus Mobile but looks like a much better deal with ALDImobile. We live in WA and often end up in remote(ish) areas. I know that ALDI uses Telstra's network, but wonder about speed as some areas appear to only have 3G when Optus has 4G. We hotspot our laptop when away from home. Any ALDI...
