Anti Carbon Tax

I wonder why we are being censored on the site. Information given about a rally against the Carbon tax was information that people have a right to know about. The original topic was never political it was only information about a rally. It neither promoted or was against any party. Smacks of Big Broth...

EPIRB's for travellers
(Preview)
With the recent tragic loss of another solo traveller in the outback, I'm wondering just how many GN's actually carry an EPIRB in their van, or a personal unit when exploring, fosicking, fishing etc. I'm hoping EVERYONE has one. The outback is just as hostile as the sea and anyone venturing 3klm off s...

OK, I'll try again. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CANBERRA RALLY THREAD? I would appreciate the courtesy of a reply, rather than an anonymous axing. We're all big boys and girls now, not children. Tony

Body of missing Nomad found in the Outback
(Preview)
This is the front story for today, and very sad. Was he one of ours and how could it happen? 71 year old Peter Worthington, it says. Seems he left the vehicle after getting bogged. I don't want to make light of this as a family have lost a dear one and this should be a warning to us all. Is it better for solos to d...

Still stuck in Kal
(Preview)
We are still stuck in Kalgoorlie. Everything is moving so slow but expensively. No word yet on when the new (reconditioned) fuel pump can be installed. And then we have to remove the turbo & send that away to be reconditioned. So far it looks like costs will be between $7,000 & $8,000 all up...

Been looking at Badgers Caravan Reports and started wondering if any body has set up a similar system for reporting on CAMPS free camps locations. I find Badgers very helpful and would think the same for CAMPS would assist many of us Grey Nomads. Any thoughts. OR if it has already been done where ca...
