Has any one used this type of protection please? If so brand/seller and durability etc. I have one door handle area that seems very thin on paint and appears scratched easily. I don't want to use the clear vinyl type. cheers and thanks Craig
I had four of those type of protectors on my car,took them off after getting a finger nail caught between the protector and the door skin,yes it b...dy hurt.

I know you said you didn't want the clear vinyl tape but good quality tape is better than that junk
If you want to try some tape I have what they use on the leading edge of a Boeing wing here somewhere, send me a PM & I will gladly send you some to try, you will just need to trim it to shape.
Just remember to use a hair dryer or let it sit in the sun to go soft so you can stretch it into shape
