Ozzie Traveller & Ozzie Co-Pilot are heading across Qld aiming to pop into Birdsville in mid August - and be out of the place before the thousands of others arrive for the races on the 31st - 32nd of August (!)

Just came back from Birdsville, found the road out from Windorah good but beware of the low spots in the road as they can be a bit rough.
Our van is an older van and not off road, experienced no probs, Mt Isa, Boulia, Birdsville, Windorah. the secret is good tyres and drive to conditions.
