Hearing water leak behind shower panel

When water pump was turned on, we started hearing drops behind shower tap handle wall panel. It has now progressed to constant drops and pump burrrring on and off constantly. What to do? confuse

Turn the pump off smile  Not much help I know.

Perhaps you can take the taps off & you might be lucky that  the leak may be able to be seen but otherwise the shower panel may have to be removed.

Perhaps a photo of your shower may help others to give you some practicable advice.

most likely you will need to remove the outa skin of the van in the area the shower is. When a caravan is built they are built from inside out

We have a cupboard behind the wall where the taps are in our shower and we have a panel that can be removed to access the taps , not sure if you have similar , I have also seen a removable panel on the outside of the van behind the shower to access the plumbing , its what some manufacturers obviously give consideration to. I also met a chap with a Winnebago motorhome and he had cut a porthole in the side of the van , he said he put it there to access the back of the shower taps.

Are you sure that the van owner had cut the access rather than the manufacturer providing it? Just the same as the motorhome owner did.

That could be an answer for the OP (original poster.) Something like this would not look too out of place even if it looks a little oddly placed.

Had similar in our motorhome . It was a push on fitting . I just replaced it . Pulled a panel off inside cupboard . Pays to have a few spare push on fittings !!

Had the problem at home water leaked behind wall and came out in bedroom carpet. Chopped out a number of outside bricks looking for it found the water but not the leak then I spoke to a plumber fellow caravanner. He said "Sometimes they leak in the O ring on the tap shaft" so I removed the tap and fitted a new O ring and lubricant he supplied problem solved. Only needed to replace carpet and bricks.

That panel in the photo is removable, those white caps will be screw covers, flip them off with a knife & there should be screws to remove the panel, turning pump on when panel is off will reveal leak.
