Does this shorter URL work?

www.caravancampingsales.com.au/editorial/details/isuzu-ups-towing-safety-112211/

Otherwise, try selecting View -> Style -> No Style in your browser, or whatever is appropriate.

Hi Rocky,

The link worked fine for me yesterday but I notice now that none of the links in the following posts are working.

Strange things happen at times on the www.

Gday...

This is the "guts" of the article - although it goes for much more than this -

"Its good news if youre shopping for a dual-cab ute to tow a large caravan or camper trailer.

Isuzu Ute Australia has finally fitted Trailer Sway Control to both its popular D-MAX ute and seven-seat MU-X SUV.
All D-MAX variants (except 4x4 low-ride SX single cab chassis) now come standard with the  important safety feature already fitted to most of its dual-cab ute rivals, which also boast similar 3500kg towing capacities to the D-MAX
."

Cheers - John

PS: interesting ... 360 views and it seems only a handful felt the need to respond regarding the link's workability. Does that suggest very few bothered to click the link, or just accepted that they could not access it and weren't that intersted. confuse

I wasnt real interested. I would prefer to see something like your last post, when I see something like the first post my thought is another magical mystery tour which Im not really needing at the moment so when I finally clicked on it and took me nowhere I couldnt be bothered anymore. Just posting a link under a vague header is a bit of a turnoff for me.

The link works OK. Rocky sets his linkd to open in a new tab. Were you looking in the new tab for the new page? Some browsers do not open in the new tab when you open the link and you have to go looking for it. Go to your preferences/options and set the browser to open that new tab when you open the link.

Also I see nothing wrong with the way he provided the link. His thread heading described what the subject of the link is. He then provided a nice neat link so if you are interested in the subject you can opt to click on it. I prefer neat links. The two subsequent links are overly large and ugly and they provide no more information than the thread heading. To those where the link did not work, I think your browser preferences need looking at.

Keep up the good work Rocky.

Well, that is interesting.

Rockys original link opens directly if I am on my iphone but it will not open at all if I am on my Ipad even if I select open in a new tab.

Here is the link in full as quoted on my browser.

www.caravancampingsales.com.au/editorial/details/isuzu-ups-towing-safety-112211/

and this wont open on my ipad either.

But, all links open on my iphone.

BTW I am using the "full site" mode on both devices

 Rocky,

Many members may have done similar to what I have done, I only reclicked the link this morning because some others said it did not work.

I found the link interesting but nothing in the link actually conjured up a thought that I might comment on. biggrin

Gday...

No probs Dicko ... when I post these links to either road tests or such I don't expect comments for or against ... although I am very aware there quite likely may be contra opinions to the author of the article/s.

Indeed, I have no personal leanings on the opinions, or the types of vehicles, that may be provided by the authors in the articles - quite often the article's author has no better opinion than any one of us.

Cheers - John

Same as Dickodownunder the link worked fine for me yesterday, today it takes me to caravan and camping sales site and says we have taken a wrong turn. The reason I never commented after I read it was because I,m not in the market for a new vehicle as I only got one last week. It seems to me that Isuzu are probably playing catch up with what other vehicle manufactures are already doing which has got to be a plus for those people who are interested in buying one.

cheers

BB

 I enjoy your links Rocky...

I have posted links that only get a few comments but may be read by several hundred members.

If the link helped just one person make a decision then it has served its purpose in my opinion.

 Hi BB

I think that maybe the site is down on the weekend.

Maybe some maintenance on Monday may restore it.

Actually I used to subscribe to that site but cut a lot if the subs out when we went on the road and internet became limited as far as price was concerned.
