Surprised nothing in Australia or NZ made the list. According to Wikipedia, there is a Huon Pine in Tasmania that's supposed to be the 5th oldest clonal tree.

We've been to many locations that lay claim to having the largest River Red Gum tree in Australia.

It's very hard to judge over all size but we've seen some big ones! Majestic! shocked.gifshocked.gif

Rusty I've been to the Huon in Tasmania and visited the individual tree you refer to - but from memory it is only (only I say), about 3,000 years old but the clonal growth it is on is about 10,500 years old.www.theaustralian.com.au/life/weekend-australian-magazine/the-oldest-tree/news-story/16e5f9dd65ded005122d725ef2c12b00

The 150 year old English Oak in the park in Goulburn is a beauty, we spent a lot of hours sitting under it to escape the heat!
