Cindy

Yes, thanks so much Cindy for all the hard work, time and effort you put into this site. Although we don't post much we are on here regularly and love the different topics that come up. We have been on the road eighteen months and preparing/researching for about seven years before that, and this site has helped us enormously! So thanks again to Cindy, Mr Cindy and everyone else on here. Cheers

Hi all,

Another vote of thanks to Cindy for all her hard work. I would also like to thank all other forumites, even though I may not always agree with them, Cindy would not have something to do without all their contributions.
As a person who still works full time and after perhaps having a crappy day, visiting this forum sometimes is like a form of therapy....takes my mind to what I would like to be doing...
An excellent effort overall.

Cheers AL

I didnt know there was a Cindy, I have been a happy reader and occasional contributor for a few years. This is a well run ship and floats along nicely, if that is due to Cindy, well done and thank you

Sarge.

Revive this older theme.

There are a few wingers at the moment about minor things on the Forum. You are getting a free ride, so get over it and enjoy and put the wine back in the flagon.

THANKS CINDY

I havent seen too many whingers Craig.

I have seen some who have differing expectations on posting standards.

They are 2 different things, and it is reasonable for all to expect their opinions to be heard.

We all dont have to agree, but we should all expect to be able to express a point of view without some of the comments that are fired back. That is the basis of sensible and mature discussion.

As for Cindy, I think she does a good job with this forum, shows good restraint, but does act when necessary. I second your vote of thanks to her.

Ian, the sooks about being " the worst forum to view " etc, is what has prompted me. Mostly from people who use smart phones is my impression. I could hazard a guess that they have a 50" Tv, but want to surf the world on a b phone.

In some ways moderating any site can be a bit of a chore and I can imagine Cindy at times saying, "Oh no, here they go again". but there would also much satisfaction in seeing the growth of the site since inception. I have had the pleasure of being a member since 2010 and there is no way that I would have lasted this long if I didn't enjoy the experience.

As a varied collection of differing opinions, we have had our moments when we have been a bit naughty and that is to be expected with so many members, but I like to think that ultimately we do respect others differing views.

So well done Cindy and all who help for putting up with our peccadilloes over the years. Long may you continue.
