Hi Debe,

Here is a picture of my crx110 controller. Although hard to see I have a pair of wires - red to F and Black to top C.  I assume this is the fan already attached to the cooling fins of the fridge. I assume they wires are reversed for the bi-directional fan?. Is F negative. Your diagram above indicates both F and C are negative.

To attach an extra fan can I  hook into the 12/24vdc as the positive and the negative to F. when the fridge is on and the compressor is running F terminal completes the circuit to allow the extra fan to run.

cheers

Craig

It looks like Waeco Dometic have the 101N0500 controller re named MFC20AD but they are both the same. Heres the Danfoss recommended way of wiring them. The F terminal grounds the fan neg lead when compressor runs. Asuming the fan on your condencer is a typical brushless type (computer type fan) then they are not reversible.DANFOSS, 101N0500, circ.jpg

Thanks DeBe,

i will insulate the fridge first to see how it goes. Thanks for your advice and its good to know i can piggyback onto the F terminal to add an exhuast fan if more cooling is needed.

As with all caravans, time spent in them can be difficult to arrange and this may take me a while to sort.

cheers and thanks

Craig
