Borroloola road

Can anyone tell me what the road to  Borroloola is like? Is it sealed all the way and are some parts like a development road ( one lane )?

You do not specify from which direction!
Sealed from Daly Waters - Development Road style.
Unsealed from the Qld direction and 4WD territory, due to river crossings.

Hiya - just done both (capentaria & tablelands) towing 25ft.
Carpentaria marginally better than tablelands. Both are pretty much single lane but totally bitumised.
You just have to be driving at a speed that enables you to drop off the road at any time. You can't see over the crests or around the bends at some (lots) points. Don't be like the idiot that came at me towing a van at top speed when he couldn't see and then was presented with cattle on the road also.
Tablelands is rough as guts from CC south, but it does get a bit better further south you go.
I just got entirely off the road (pulled up and parked) whenever a truck came. They are working and trying to deal with a crud road day in day out. Don't need us in their way. There's not that many of them. Food, fuel and mines trucks. All good fellas that appreciate good driving.
There are a few good camps out there, but nowhere near enough of them for the state of the road in my opinion.
