A magic flute !?

You will have had to been around for quite awhile if you remember the above.

It was/ is a metal object that one held over the nose and mouth.

Then you exhaled through the nose to imitate just about any bird call. (Excepting that of the double breasted mattress thrasher)

I had such a "flute" when I was just a kid, and haven't seen one in over 65 years

Do you remember them !? (The flute, that is ?)

Yes I remember them ....long time ago..

just did a search and they are called nose flutes .....there are some on YouTube

 A non Lady like pose & a less than appealing renditon on a rather revolting instrument.

Thanks to everyone. Good to hear from you Craig and Bev. Chris and Chris. I'm getting over the operation on my back. One hell of a scar. Now living in Queensland.
No, I don't have a photo of what you call the "Nose flute" I will chase it up. Thank you all again.
