Newbies heading east & back 5+

So, what do you do to pass the time at Port Lincoln? Why, visit the Glen Forest Tourist Park of course!smile A fairly short drive into the countryside not too far from town, the park  is a rural property that's been converted to an interesting animal haven where you are given a small bag of feed and sent off to commune with a range of critters including kangaroos, alpacas, an ostrich (terrible table manners!), camels, water buffaloes etc, and a bevy of colourful birds. It sure beats watching afternoon TV!

First white kangaroo we'd ever seen. Not sure whether it's an albino or just a throwback. There are a couple in the park.

Daynappin' ol' wombat in favoured pose. He's a bit agro they tell us so it's probably best not to risk fingers feeding.

A face only a mother could love, but it's got character.
